Biodegradable pot made from natural sustainable sources including bamboo fibre, rice straw, wheat straw, chaff, corn stalk and similar. The nutrient elements in the pot material also double as a fertiliser slowly releasing into the soil during biodegradation, they help in facilitating the growth of plants as the they grow,, quicken the growth of flowers and helping to bring out gorgeous colours in the plants and flowers grown.
As the biodegradable pot is disposed off or planted into soil rich in naturally occurring microorganisms, it will slowly degrade and cause no any pollution to the environment. The pot can degrade naturally within 2–3 years after being planted in soil and in around 120–180 days if disposed of in a compost heap or landfill environment.
The biodegradation bi-products are predominantly CO2 and water, lower molecular compounds harmless to the environment, which cause no secondary pollution to the environment and the underground water resources.
